Can I get a refund or replacement after I receive my code?

Yes — if a code doesn't work, was the wrong item, or shows as already used, you have 14 days from delivery to claim a refund or replacement. Are gift cards and game keys usable in any country?

Most are region-specific. Each product page shows the region — Global, Pakistan, MENA, US, UK, or similar — and the code will only redeem on an account in that same region. A US PlayStation code won't work on a UK account.

The short answer: yes, the same card works on both

A PSN gift card doesn’t fund a console — it funds your PSN wallet, and your wallet is tied to your account, not to the PS4 or PS5 you happen to be signed into. Redeem a card on either console and the balance is available on both, since they’re the same account.

What actually matters: region, not console generation

The only thing that determines whether a card will redeem is whether the card’s region matches your account’s region — PS4 vs PS5 makes no difference at all. What about games — do PS4 purchases carry over to PS5?

Most PS4 games you’ve bought are playable on PS5 through backward compatibility, and Sony’s cross-generation game bundles (“Smart Delivery” style upgrades) let you access the PS5 version of some titles for free if you already own the PS4 version — but this varies by publisher, not something a gift card affects either way.

Switching consoles mid-subscription

If you’re mid-way through a PS Plus term funded by a gift card, moving to a new console doesn’t reset or affect the subscription — it’s attached to your account, exactly like the wallet balance.
